Autumn olive is a medium to large shrub that will often reach a height of twenty feet. The leaves are born alternately on the stems and they are, for the most part, in an oval shape form that are usually 1-3 inches long. The top of the leaves are green and the bottom side of the leaves are silver. Autumn olive is native to Japan and Korea within this, woodland areas. They can be found in high, disturbed areas such as road sides etc.
